Ali Amin Gandapur, nominated for KP CM by PTI, was ordered to be arrested. The AJK Election Commission issued a warrant for Ali Amin Gandapur, ex-Kashmir Affairs Minister and KP CM nominee, in connection with ethics violations during AJK General Elections 2021. Despite requests, he didn’t appear, so Deputy Commissioner D.I. Khan was instructed to arrest Gandapur, set for February 28.
Similarly, arrests were decided for advertising nominees involved in May 9 incidents. Successful candidates Mian Aslam Iqbal, Ali Amin Gandapur, and Imtiaz Sheikh are wanted by Lahore Police, so practical measures for the arrest of the May 9 assembly members have been arranged. 22 advertising leaders and 282 workers are involved in the cases. Police are in constant contact with workers during the electoral campaign and results, tracking their connections and locations with the help of various agencies.
