Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Said “No Mandate to Form Federal Government, Hence I am Not a Candidate for Prime Minister

Pakistan Peoples Party’s chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has stated that he is not a candidate for forming the federal government, emphasizing that the mandate to form a government does not belong to him. PPP has decided not to be a part of the federal cabinet. PTI announced that it will not form a coalition government with PPP. After a meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee, it was decided that PPP will not take part in the federal cabinet. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP does not have a mandate to form a federal government, hence, it was decided not to take ministries. He further added, “I am not a candidate for the prime minister’s office”. With PTI ruling out forming a government with PPP, the possibility of PTI forming a government has ended. Muslim League-Nawaz is a major party in the National Assembly. It has invited us to join the government. The PPP has decided that it will not take ministries in the federal government. The cabinet will not be a part of the PPP. To ensure the formation of the government, we will vote for the prime minister from the Muslim League-N. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the people participated in the elections and do not want further political instability. A committee has been formed for government formation and political stability. This committee will engage with all political parties. Efforts will be made to resolve the crises facing Pakistan.
