Chaudhry Moonis Elahi, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has emphasized the need to conduct elections under the supervision of the judiciary rather than relying on bureaucratic systems. In a statement released from abroad he highlighted that transparent and impartial elections can only be ensured when conducted under the guidance of the judiciary. He reaffirmed his belief that holding elections under oversight’s a longstanding practice that should continue.

Additionally in response, to denied permission for rallies and processions the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has decided to approach the Supreme Court. Barrister Ali Zafar, PTI Chairman and lawyer addressed this issue during a media interaction at Lahore High Court. He disclosed that while election schedules are being announced PTI workers and leaders are facing imprisonment. A petition regarding this matter has already been filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan with Barrister Ali Zafar stating that another request is being submitted for access.

Furthermore efforts are underway to secure permission from Peshawar High Court for PTI chairmans participation, in the elections. Emphasizing that Election Commission of Pakistan is an institution he urged everyone to cooperate with it.

The Election Commission members have been making commendable decisions. Barrister Ali Zafar clarified that the petition filed concerning Returning Officers (ROs) and District Returning Officers (DROs) was not intended to cause any delays, in the elections.

Barrister Ali Zafar mentioned that there are discussions within the party regarding the withdrawal of the request. However a final decision can only be taken after consultation with the PTIs leader. He expressed his concern that there might be a delay in the elections due to the stay order emphasizing the need for lifting it promptly to ensure no disruption in the electoral process. The petition aimed to safeguard elections by preventing any interference from Deputy Commissioners (DCs). On a note Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf expressed worries, about a notification regarding ROs fearing that this appointment could lead to corruption and potentially result in election postponement.
