Election Commission Stops Results in Many Areas: Suspense Grows

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has suspended the announcement of final results for 37 constituencies, both at the national and provincial levels. According to sources, the ECP has halted the declaration of final results for NA-56 and NA-53 in Rawalpindi, as well as NA-60 in Jhelum and NA-69 in Mandi Bahauddin. The commission has also paused the final results for NA-57 and NA-52. In Lahore, NA-126 and NA-27 are among the constituencies where final results have been put on hold, along with NA-87 in Khushab. Additionally, final results for NA-58 in Chakwal and NA-71 in Sialkot have been temporarily halted. Furthermore, the commission has stopped the final results for NA-51 in Rawalpindi and NA-117 in Lahore.

Similarly, the ECP has suspended results for 22 Punjab Assembly constituencies. These include PP-4 in Attock, PP-7 and PP-6 in Murree. The final results of PP-22 in Chakwal, PP-49 in Sialkot, and PP-14 in Rawalpindi have also been delayed. Additionally, PP-15 and PP-17 in Rawalpindi are among the constituencies affected by the suspension. PP-12 and PP-53 are also among those where final results have been temporarily withheld. Furthermore, the final results of PP-121 in Toba Tek Singh and PP-279 in Layyah have been suspended. The ECP has also stopped final results for PP-133. Moreover, final results for PP-283 in Layyah, PP-164 in Lahore, and PP-46 in Sialkot have been halted.
