Improve Your Screenshot Game: Whatsapp’s New Features

whatsapp's new feature

Whatsapp‘s New Features can be here at any moment. And it is time that you improve your screenshot game. Do you know people who are ready to throw screenshots about everything, all the time? Yes, be like them. Because the Whatsapp’s New Features are designed to help the liars. And it can be great for you if you are a person who says things without thinking, and then you might need to delete what you said. But, if you don’t want people to say things to you and then suddenly erase what you said then.. well things are about to get terrible.

Beware, read before you update.

It looks like Whatsapp has lost its mind. The app makers are trying to make this platform more friendly to the Gen Zers. This means that the kid’s generation of people who are about 15 or under are becoming Whatsapp’s priority now. In order to make the app more youth-oriented, Whatsapp is shaking things up a bit. Whether that is good or bad is up to you:

Other popular messaging apps in the world such as Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, and Instagram offer a “self-destructing messages” feature. This is a timer-based message or a message that can disappear. Even Skype has it. Whatsapp will not be allowing you to do the same. No more ‘you deleted this message’.

Erase your Message.

Whatsapp’s New Features: The Ghost Message and Timer

This is a ghost message feature and it is made for making the application more private. Although the government, intelligence forces and the social listeners (advertisers) will still know what you are talking about. The privacy of your mind can still be improved with this. If you can set a timer for messages in your conversation, you can limit the scope of the conversation, the fact that it will disappear after the specified time makes it less possible for someone to tag you in something you said a hundred days ago.

This encourages people to live in the present. But, professionally, is this going to be a disaster? Perhaps.

The app will be allowing this feature in WhatsApp‘s group chat settings. This is a great way to reduce group wars, as everyone knows and has seen what these are. If it allows you to set the timer for destruction for five seconds or one hour, then you can limit what others quote and do not quote. You can reduce the chances of a quote-to-quote text fight.

Snapchat or Whatsapp?

Snapchat has been made for a similar purpose too. One of the things that make Snapchat what it is, is the fact that you can time your conversations. Putting a time bomb on your conversations gives you comfort. But, in Whatsapp, do we need this element?

Look at your conversations on Whatsapp. What do you talk about? You talk about the important things like bills, official notices, official updates, class timings, and similar things. You do not want to lose out this information just because someone timed it. So, this can be an unnecessary feature too.

Will Facebook follow the same route?

Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp are owned by the same company. That is right, not many people know about this. When Facebook acquired Instagram, it copied the Instagram stories feature and published one for itself right away.

Perhaps this Whatsapp’s new feature will be copied too. We already have the ability to send someone a story on Instagram and it disappears in 24 hours. A similar version of this feature is also available on Whatsapp. What is missing is the fact that you can send a message and it does not download on the other person’s phone.

Is Whatsapp’s New Features good for society?

Disappearing messages are a great feature to reduce regrets. If you want to send someone a picture that you do not want to think about once it is over, or a piece of evidence that you need to delete because you maybe don’t trust the other person very much, but just a little. Or send any sensitive information to someone without a trace of your correspondence, then this is great.

This can be a safe way to say things for many people. After all, sometimes you get in trouble when someone sees your chat history. And this I can give you security.
