There is a happy couple who are living a satisfying life with a few imbalances within their relationship due to somewhat strained resources/ The couple is from a middle-class family, they live in an apartment and have a child. They were married out of love. The couple is basically doing okay.
Anyway, so the wife is friends with affluent people and wants a similar lifestyle. Her husband has moral affiliations and is a simple and noncorrupt human being. He takes no bribes and works with purity. The wife pushes him to get bribes, to buy stuff and to upgrade the class.
He buys her a necklace that she has eyed on but before he could give her the necklace he finds out that she already bought it and borrowed the money from a friend to do it. He then takes another bribe and returns the owed amount to the person he borrows it from. Meanwhile, the wife hangout with her affluent friends and meets a man.
The Plot Thickens:
The antagonist is played by Adnan Siddiqui. He is affluent. He is powerful. And he is super spoiled. He likes the woman, he flirts, her friend tells him she is married and unavailable. Being the spoiled self he is, he refuses to give up and pursues her.
Adnan Siddiqui invites the couple for dinner. At the dinner, he manipulates the situation and sends the husband in the room to clean his shirt. The wife sits at his dinner table and he says that he knew they would find time alone. He flirts all along. The husband returns, Adnan Siddiqui provides them parting gifts. They refuse to take a luxury watch, a diamond necklace and lots of toys for the baby saying that they can not afford such give and take. Adnan Siddiqui insists.
They are headed home, the husband is convinced to return the gifts but anyhow Adnan Siddiqui convinces him to keep them. The husband feels something is fishy but he can not point his finger at it.
The woman is constantly pushing her husband for more money meanwhile. And at the same time, she is influenced and taken aback by Adnan’s wealth and lifestyle.
Later Adnan offers the girl a job. He offers a lot of money in return. The husband and wife argue over the opportunity. He says that his wife is not capable of earning so much based on her talent, she is only being offered the amount because she is pretty, but the wife does not listen. Her husband played by Humayoun Saeed says she has no reason to work. But, he gives up anyway. She starts working for Adnan. At this point, nothing is clear to the husband but he gives up because he loves her a lot.
She works for him and the first day at work she finds out her only task is to look beautiful and sit nearby Adnan. Adnan pays her in advance for the next couple of months. Adnan invites her to Islamabad with him for a work trip. She says she will not get permission for it but, Adnan takes her anyway.
The husband finds out and waits at the airport at the time of the arrival, his wife and Adnan are holding hands at this point. The husband ignores this and allows things the way they are.
She pushes him on their way home on the bike to address the issue. He says nothing much but that it was his fault as a husband he is so strict that his wife is not open with him. They do not talk about the incident again but her husband says she can not work for him.
She fights and continues. Later to make things right he wants to return the money and the gifts to Adnan. He borrows the amount used and heads to Adnan. Meanwhile, his wife already warns Adnan.
Adnan asks Humayoun straight up that he thinks Humayoun should divorce his wife. Humayoun is revolted. Adnan pulls out the pictures of them in Islamabad. His wife is wearing a nightdress and looks intimate with Adnan.
Humayoun is heartbroken. He leaves at this point and takes back the money he borrowed from a colleague.

Anyhow, the episode that was aired this Saturday derailed many hearts. This romantic drama has men and women swooning over their seats. While many people enjoy the show out of no shame and sheer joy, others watch it from the corners of their eyes. You can dislike it because it shows you how crappy love can be, or you can enjoy it because it is good enjoyment, but you should not ignore it.
