Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology – MST has unveiled newly bottled water. The ministry has introduced this new water by the approval of the Pak government officials. And, yes the price is amazingly low. That too per Litre.

What Are The Details?

According to confirmed details – this project is a pilot project for a short span of time. And, the Pak government manufactured water is available for certain government officials. The cost per liter is Paki rupee1 only. Fawad Chaudhry, the current federal minister for Science and Technology says, “This step is taken because of the government’s austerity measures, and we hope to see better out of it.

Government Wants Cost-Effective Options?

This bottled water will be a cheaper alternative to the mineral water that is currently available at government offices, he said.
The bottled water, called the ‘Safe Drinking Water, will cost Rs1 per liter, the federal minister remarked.

The Pakistan Council of Research and Water Reserves have so far prepared 500 ml bottles for the water.

This water will be served to officials at PM Office, GHQ, and Parliament House first, and then later at offices of different ministries.
