Whatsapp is rolling out a feature that not only allows you to lock your chats but also hide the entire folder where you store these private conversations. If you’re fortunate enough to be part of the beta testing you now have the ability to hide chats by entering a special ‘secret code’, in the search bar. Once you’ve done this those locked chats won’t appear in your chats list. But don’t worry you can still access them by entering the code in the search bar.
And here’s an interesting addition; some users may have the option to easily clear the list of chats directly from their privacy settings. This comes in handy especially when you forget your code. This new feature builds upon WhatsApp introduction of chat locking through passwords or fingerprints. Stay tuned for these updates that will enhance both security and personalization of your chats!
